Meet at the International Center, 421 Temple St
All international students, scholars and their families are invited to join us for light refreshments and mingling at the International Center and we'll walk together to the Yale Philharmonia concert at Woolsey Hall. Shinik Hahm conducts the Yale Philharmonia in Koetsier's Concertino, with the Handsome Dans trombone quartet; Respighi's The Pines of Rome; and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4 in F minor. New Haven History Workshop
New Haven Museum, 114 Whitney Ave
The New Haven Museum invites members of Yale's international community to a series of informal workshops on topics in New Haven history. These workshops are specifically designed to help increase English vocabulary and learn local history by looking closely at and discussing pieces of art and history on view at the New Haven Museum. January's theme is "Portraits: Famous Faces in New Haven History" (continued from November's session). Admission: $2 per person (plus service fee); please pay online in advance.
