International Education Week Photo Contest

International Education Week (IEW) is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to recognize the global exchange environment between the US and other countries.

To celebrate this event, CIE & OISS are sponsoring an online photo contest. Deadline for submissions is 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Selected photos will be displayed on-campus and on the CIE and OISS Web sites.

We seek photos that support the mission of IEW: "to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide."

There are two photo categories. Important: All students (including those who are eligible for both categories) may submit to only one category.

Category 1:
Photos Taken Abroad

The photo must have been taken by a Yale College student while participating in a CIE Program or other program funded by a Yale College-administered fellowship listed in the Student Grants Database.

Category 2:
Photos Taken in the United States

The photo must have been taken by a Yale College international student in the United States during their time at Yale.

See the Yale College Center for International Experience Web site for eligibility criteria, rules for submission, and other important contest information.
