Thanksgiving Day, or Thanksgiving, is a harvest festival celebrated in the United States on the fourth Thursday in November. On Thanksgiving Day, families and friends usually gather for a large meal or dinner. This year, Thanksgiving will be celebrated on November 22.

Many New Haven families also open their homes to the Yale international community on Thanksgiving. This is a great opportunity to spend the holiday with an American family – learning about the Thanksgiving tradition and meeting new people. Many host families are also willing to provide transportation to and from dinner.

Registration for Thanksgiving at Home will open on Thursday, November 8.
Registration Deadline: Thursday, November 15.
Email notifications will be sent to hosts and guests by Tuesday, November 20.
