Non-Degree International Students in the Graduate School

Congratulations and welcome to Yale! We are delighted that you will be joining the Yale community and look forward to meeting you. We understand that you will have many questions about coming to Yale and New Haven and the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) is here to provide answers. There are many topics to consider in your transition to Yale including housing, health, and travel information. All of this information is available on our Web site. However, before you research these matters, you should begin work on obtaining a DS-2019 immigration document so you can apply for a U.S. visa.

New Student Visa Document Request

The OISS will be preparing your DS-2019 which is required for your visa application. In order to generate this document we will need to collect some addtional information from you. Our new student questionnaire should provide us with all the information we'll need to generate this document for you:
