Whether in need of immediate or on-going support in a time of crisis, there are many resources for getting the help you need.  OISS advisers are always available to listen and provide referrals, or you may find the help you need through the resources listed on this page.

You can dial 911 from any phone.

911 is the nationwide emergency number. Be ready to report details, beginning with the nature of the emergency and the exact location (address).

If you are in a crisis situation and don’t know where to turn, but need someone who can listen and help you solve your problem, you can always contact an OISS adviser. OISS advisers are always available to meet with you in person – no appointment necessary.
