Yale Health

Yale Health is medical coverage available to Yale students, employees, and other Yale affiliates. Those who are covered by Yale Health receive medical services at the on-campus Yale Health Center  for routine doctor visits, primary care, medical tests, and 24-hour urgent care  The facility also houses athletic medicine, a pharmacy, an inpatient care facility, and many specialty clinics such as Allergy, Dermatology, Orthopedics, Travel Clinic, etc. 

Postdocs, visiting scholars and Yale employees are not automatically enrolled, and must enroll themselves or any dependents within the first 30 days of employment or in the event of a marriage, birth or adoption.  Check with your school or department to find out whether or not you will receive automatic Yale Health coverage. If you are not covered, it is possible to purchase Yale Health coverage on your own, or pay-per-visit. Inquire directly with Yale Health Member Services for more information.
