Making Notes

You can add notes about a scholar by clicking on the notes button near the top of the scholar record screen.

Click on the add note button and enter your information.

Review notes for a scholar by clicking on the notes button, find the Subject column, and click on a note’s subject name.

When to Use Notes

You might conisder using the notes button if you need to save special information about a scholar. You can also make a “to-do” list and save it as a note.

Please know that the OISS will see any notes you make about a scholar once you submit the record. The scholar will not be able to see your notes.


Reviewing the Record History

You can see any changes that have been made to a scholar record by clicking on the history button near the top of the scholar record screen.

Dates and descriptions are available for every event, including information about who performed the change to the record.

Use the Event Filter

Under thehistorybutton, you can use the event filter drop down menu to find specific events. For example, you can quickly learn all the dates you e-mailed the scholar through the system.


Using the Forms Button to Review Data

At any point, you can review all the information that has been submitted through the Scholar Data Bar (both by you and the scholar) by clicking on the forms button near the top of the scholar record screen.

Use the drop down menu and click the preview button.

Department Request Form will show you information submitted by the department.

Visitor Request Form will show you information submitted by the scholar.
