Physical Safety

Physical work performed by personnel at Yale is highly dynamic and is best described as the interaction of the human-machine-environment.  This interaction often results in a myriad of physical safety exposures and risks. The Office of Environmental Health & Safety manages and controls these risks through the implementation and enforcement of university safety policies and procedures.

Physical safety policy's and procedures are designed to evaluate and eliminate potential unsafe practices; they support programs that meet, or exceed, government regulatory requirements in the ever changing work environment of Yale’s students, faculty, and staff.
