University Safety Committees

Yale University is committed to protecting the health and safety of its staff, students, and visitors. This responsibility for safety begins with each employee in the workplace and laboratory, and proceeds upward through the levels of management in the academic and administrative areas. Final responsibility for health and safety policies and programs rests with the Provost of the University, which has delegated some of these tasks to appointed safety committees, and to the OEHS.
