| The Yale Nordic Ski Team is a
club athletic team competing in the Eastern Nordic Division of the
United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA). Our members include
undergraduates and graduate students, state- and national-class racers
and complete beginners. We practice
in New Haven three or four days during the academic week and take trips
to Vermont, New Hampshire, and upstate New York to race on weekends.
We also take occaisional touring and backcountry ski trips and
host informal social events. In 2009, women's team finished 4th of 10 teams in the division and the men's team finished 5th of 8 teams.
