We expect that the conference will be attended by some 300 private and public sector leaders from throughout New England, and will receive significant media coverage throughout the region.
 

• Promote the ideas of the Next Generation Project and explore how the ideas fit into Northwest policy directions;
• Create an opportunity to discuss how the Northwest and Alaska can address the environmental issues facing them through technology and sound business practices;
• Promote further coordination between government, nonprofits, industry and academics in addressing the Northwest issues; and,
• Identify actions that each of us can take promote decisions that are both environmentally sound and economically prosperous.
