The Yale Collection of Musical Instruments depends heavily on private funding for the the support of its activities as a museum. Facing ongoing budgetary constraints, the museum continues to rely even more on the generosity of members, friends, alumni, and the public to maintain and develop its services to the University and to the community at large.
