Nick graduated from Yale University in 2008 with a degree in Cognitive Science. He worked in the CapLab for two years as an undergraduate.

Erik is currently a post doc in the Department of Psychology at Harvard working in the Laboratory for Developmental Studies with Dr. Susan Carey.

Brian is taking a brief hiatus from cognitive science to work at the National Office of MathCounts in Washington D.C.

Louisa Egan ’08 PhD

Louisa is currently a postdoc at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Courtney Glavis-Bloom ‘04

Courtney is a graduate student at Emory University working at the Yerkes National Primate Research Center with Dr. Jocelyne Bachevalier.

Jonathan Flombaum ’08 PhD

Jon is a professor in the Department of Psychology at Johns Hopkins University.

Bailey House

Bailey is currently a graduate student in the Department of Anthropology at UCLA.  He received his B.A. in Cognitive Science from Hampshire College in 2003 and served as a research assistant in CapLab in 2006-2007.

Derek Lyons ’08 PhD

Derek has left us for a faculty position at his old alma mater, Reed College.

Drew is now a PhD student in the neuroscience program at Duke University, working with Dr. Michael Platt.

Koleen McCrink ’07 PhD

Mariko is currently a graduate student at John Hopkins University studying infant cognition with Dr. Lisa Feigenson.

Venkat Lakshminarayanan

Venkat investigates whether monkeys share our economic biases.  He received his B.A. from Yale University in 2004 and is currently a graduate student in the Department of Psychology.

Webb Phillips

Webb is interested in what and how monkeys think about each other. He is currently investigating the evolution of prejudice by by testing monkeys' ingroup/outgroup associations. He got his B.S. in 2003 from Stanford University.

Kelly Hughes

Kelly is interested in individual differences in monkey risk-taking.  She is currently a graduate student in the Department of Anthropology at Yale working jointly with Dr. David Watts.

Neha Mahajan

Neha received her B.A. from Yale University in 2006. She is currently a graduate student in the Department of Psychology. 

Jennifer Barnes

Jen received her B.A. from Yale in 2006. After receiving a Fulbright Scholarship, she earned her M.A.at the University of Cambridge. Jen has also just finished her second book and is currently a graduate student in the Department of Psychology.

Mark Sheskin

Mark graduated from the University of Miami in 2007 with a BS in Neuroscience and a BA in Philosophy and Theatre. His research interests are the intersection of philosophy and psychology, particularly in the are of moral judgements. In CapLab, he is investigating fairness behavior in monkeys.
