Summer Interns:

There are two summer intern positions available each year. The requirements are not exclusive, applicants only needing to enjoy working outdoors and be willing and able to get up in the morning. Previous horticultural or gardening training is appreciated although certainly not necessary. Job applicants can access the Yale University student employment web-site for further information and applications. The process begins in March, with applicants notified by mid-April of their acceptance as employees. Yale University students are given first priority, but we have hired outside Tethis group if the applicant pool allows.

Academic Year Interns:

We have several positions available foe academic year interns, depending on the amount of hours each student is interested in working. Typically a student has about four to eight hours a week that he or she can budget for a student job. Because of funding requirements, we give preference for Yale University undergraduate students, while we have also hired graduate students from Forestry and Environmental Studies, and others.
