We are pleased to announce an exciting partnership with the Écoles des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. The association will be based on parallel Transitions to Modernity colloquia, and include regular virtual respondents to papers presented at each institution, an exchange of faculty visitors, and a yearly conference for participants alternating between Paris and New Haven.

EHESS sends a visiting fellow to Yale each year. The fellow teaches a course on “Topics in European and Russian Studies.”
