PIER Resource Center

The PIER Resource Center at The MacMillan Center is a lending library of print, audiovisual, and computer software resources on Africa, East and South Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East, Russia, Europe and International and Global Issues. The collection consists of some 2,000 audiovisual and electronic items and 5,000 print items available for free loan. The materials in the collection are for training and educational purposes for non-specialists who wish to improve the understanding of world areas and issues. The PIER Resource Center is open to professionals in business, the media, education and not-for-profit groups.

Materials can be reserved by email or phone and shipped, or picked up in person. There is no charge for materials picked up in person, and a nominal fee for materials that are shipped.
