PIER-International Studies provides intensive summer institutes on current global issues, professional development workshops, on-site training programs, curriculum development and evaluation, lesson plans online, resources services, consulting services, and language enrichment opportunities for high school students. Additionally, it collaborates with various organizations, such as the Connecticut Geographic Alliance, North East Regional Council for the Social Studies (NERC),National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS), Connecticut Council for the Social Studies (CTCSS), and more.
