School Exchanges and Partnerships

Connecticut State Department of Education and the Académie de Toulouse, an educational regional authority covering eight "départments" in the South-Western part of France (Lot, Aveyron, Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne, Ariège, Haute-Garonne, Gers et Hautes-Pyrénées), have signed an official agreement concerning school exchanges and partnerships.

If your school in Connecticut is interested in finding a partner school in France for e-mail exchanges and projects on specific topics, please complete this form, or contact the Center for the Teaching of French.

Amanda Robustelli-Price, French teacher at Bristol Central High School in Bristol, has kindly offered to  share materials she has developed for the exchange she coordinates with a school in France. Her students travel to France in November over Thanksgiving vacation, missing only three and half days of school. She is also sharing sample report cards from the French school that you could use to show how students are graded in a lycée.
