Programs in International Educational Resources (PIER) of the MacMillan Center draws upon Yale University’s extensive resources to develop and implement programs, services, and resources designed to advance understanding of international and world regional issues through outreach to education, business, media, and the public.
Explore the world through language study at PIER’s World Culture and Language After School Studies Program at Yale University.
PIER in collaboration with the Yale Center for Language Study is pleased to announce that Arabic, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, KiSwahili, Portuguese, Russian, Urdu, and Yoruba will be taught using Yale’s extensive language and international resources.
The courses start on October 12, 2015 and end on May 20, 2016. Classes meet for an hour and a half one day a week on the Yale campus. The program costs $400/course, with full scholarships available to students who attend New Haven Public Schools.
