Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral Training

Although the International Affairs Council does not offer Ph.D. degrees, it does provide support to students enrolled in Ph.D. programs at Yale. Ph.D. students may be involved in the many research programs and speaker series on campus organized through the Council.

Ph.D. students who are interested in inviting speakers to campus can apply for the Gaddis Smith Seminar series funds.

Currently, the IAC offers one post-doctoral fellowship each year, the Pierre Keller Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Transatlantic Relations. This provides an opportunity for a scholar or practitioner with a policy focus on transatlantic relations to spend a year at Yale. Applications are due annually in December.
