Diana Velica is a Visiting Assistant in Research in the Global Justice Program at Yale University. Her research project is Curbing the Arms Trade: A Necessity for Development. She earned her B.A. from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Bucharest, with a thesis focused on small arms and light weapons proliferation and its impact to human rights and development. She is currently in the second year of an masters program in International Development Studies and International Relations Ethics at the University of Bucharest.
