Richard Adams, Global Justice Fellow

Richard holds Doctoral, Masters and First Class degrees from the University of Western Australia, a Master’s degree in Arts and from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from the University of Tasmania. A serving officer in the Royal Australian Navy, Richard came to Yale as a Fulbright professional scholar to work on ideas of realism and moral autonomy in Australian military doctrine. His fields of interests are in stoicism, volition and moral responsibility, ideas of institutional responsibility and global justice.
