Robert Lepenies, Global Justice Fellow

Robert Lepenies is a PhD candidate at the Hertie School of Governance (FU Berlin, WZB). For the academic year of 2012/13 he was awarded a Fulbright-Schuman fellowship to do research at Yale. His dissertation "Losers in Trade - The Philosophy, Politics and Economics of Free Trade Advocacy" deals with normative questions in international trade policy. He holds an MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (with Distinction) and a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford. He has been a teaching assistant in the Master of Public Policy Programme at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. He has also been a visiting researcher at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. His research interests lie in political philosophy, global governance and philosophy of economics
