- PIER Summer Institutes
- From July 8-12, scores of K-12 educators from around the country will come to the MacMillan Center to take part in the PIER Summer Institutes for training in international and world areas of study. This year's institutes include Global Youth in the Digital Age; Echoes of Egypt: Conjuring the Land of the Pharaohs; and American Histories: Indigenous Peoples and Europeans in the Americas.
