Travel to New Haven
Most of our air travelers fly into one of the New York airports (JFK, LaGuardia, Newark) or Hartford (Bradley) then take either Metro North railroad, AMTRAK, or a shuttle to New Haven. Reservations for ground transportation can be made and purchased online. For a shuttle from the New York airports we recommend Go Airport Shuttle (1-800-377-8745 or www.2theairport.com). Connecticut Limousine also operates out of New York, and is available from Bradley\Hartford as well (www.ctlimo.com or phone 1-800-472-5466). Premier Limousine (www.premierlimo.net or phone 866-885-5466 or 860-828-9111) also operates out of Bradley and the NY airports.
If you take CT Limo: CT Limo will deliver you to their terminal in the Long Wharf section of New Haven, so you will have to take a taxi from there to the campus or the hotel. You can call any number of taxi services when you arrive. We suggest New Haven Yellow Taxi (203- 777-7770) or Ecuamex Taxi (203-624-3333) or City Wide Taxi (203-777-0007).
For travelers from New York: Metro North Railroad is the easiest, least expensive service to Union Station in New Haven. For travelers from Boston, Providence, Philadelphia, Washington, Maryland or Virginia: AMTRAK provides service directly to Union Station in New Haven. From there you can take a taxi from those waiting in front of the station.
