Deadlines
Submissions for individual papers, poster board presentations, and panels and roundtables must be received by November 1, 2013. The conference program committee will send acceptance/rejection letters by December 16.

General rules for conference presenters
Each paper presentation should be 15-20 minutes in length. All proposals must be submitted via the Yale Conference Services Web site: www.regonline.com/Register/Checkin.aspx?EventID=1234364.

All presenters must appear at the conference in person to deliver their presentations.

Conference presenters may appear on the program no more than two times and may present no more than one paper. If you have questions about the conference or proposal content, please contact the conference co-chairs at baltic.scandinavian@yale.edu.

Membership is not required to SUBMIT a proposal. Once a proposal is accepted, the presenter must be a member of one of the organizations in order to PRESENT.

Each person can submit a maximum of two proposals, and only one of each type. 

Only complete proposals will be considered.

Conference thematic streams
The conference organizers invite SASS and AABS members to submit proposals that fit within the thematic streams selected for the conference. These are listed here: streams.html or you may Download a pdf listing of all streams.

Participation in a stream is by no means required; if your paper does not fit into one of the streams please submit it anyway! Papers may appear at the conference on a panel not identified as part of a conference stream.

Registration
Registration for the conference will begin on November 1 via the conference registration Web site: www.regonline.com/Register/Checkin.aspx?EventID=1234364. Early registration will continue through February 1, 2014. Presenters, panelists, and other participants will be asked to confirm their attendance by January 10.

Regular Registration:
$200 until Feb. 1, 2014. After Feb. 1, 2014 registration is $220.

Graduate Students or Registrants with annual income below $30,000
$100 until Feb. 1, 2014. After Feb. 1, 2014 registration is $120.

One-day registration
$90 Thursday, March 13, Friday, March 14, or Sautrday, March 15, 2014

Registration includes daily conference sessions; opening reception on Thursday, March 13; and a Yale Campus Walking Tour.
Advance reservation is required for the reception and the campus tour.
