The Council on African Studies of the Yale Center for International and Area Studies invites applications for the Sarita Wardlaw Henry '72 Memorial Fellowship for the summer of 2006.
One grant of $500 will be awarded to a Yale undergraduate student for summer travel to west Africa.
In judging applications of equal merit, the selection committee will give priority to applicants of African descent whose work focuses on Francophone West Africa.
Application must be made through the Yale
Students Grants and Fellowships Database. Only applications submitted
through this database will be accepted in the 2006 competition.
