Our Mission Statement:
Luther house exists to provide opportunities for people to express and explore their individual faiths in God through community worship, service to others, supportive relationships, Bible study, and prayer.

Meals with LifeHaven

LifeHaven is a transitional shelter for women and their children in the fairhaven area of New Haven. Luther House cooks and serves a meal there once a month, and eats with the people who live in the shelter. This is a way for Luther House to not only serve the greater community, but be a part of it. This time also serves as a reminder for the ever-busy student that there is life beyond the classroom, and reinforces the need to look beyond ourselves into greater ministry with our community. Breaking bread together is a way for us all to be reminded of Jesus's emphasis on community meals as an expression of our faith in one another.
