I took a cursory glance at the video4linux directory in the 2.2.0 kernel tree;
from the READMEs, it looks like the Miro might be less trouble than the
Hauppauge. Disclaimer: I don't actually know, of course, since I don't own
either yet.

First sentence of README.Miro:
The right tuner type should automatically be detected.

First sentence of README.Hauppauge:
The current I2C-Code could by accident overwrite the configuration EEPROM on
Hauppauge boards!!!

Collin, any trouble like the README.Hauppauge warned? Did you have to do all
that stuff the README said about backing up the EEPROM?
