and it's better for them to learn how to build a kernel (eventually :)
point is: they can't learn everything at once (students can only retain a
certain amount of material at a time), and this isn't a lesson that's very
crucial (even though it is simple)...I'd rather they learned the dogma of
solid structured programming first (but I don't have high hopes...it's a
dying art :)
as has been previously stated, the odds of the users being in /tmp and
running something are pretty slim...and even if someone put a trojan "ls"
in a dir such as "/tmp", I'd be amazed if root on pantheon (or other key
Yale system) didn't find it and severely smack the knuckles of the schmuck
who did it..._and_ less obvious hacks based on use patterns can't be
derived from .history files on pantheon...is there anything left?
