I went to www.kernel.org and it said not ready for primetime yet. Is it
stable? Is it worth the 10 meg download?
Well It means that the console can draw pictures now, when it boots it
has a nice image of a penguin but that could be customized, it means
prettier text in the console, fonts, its a nice feature. Its stable so
far I'm using like i do my regular kernel so far so good, the pre ac 6
is different I heard from freshmeat that it locked up his machine but
this one seems fun so far. When I get my tv tuner in the next couple of
days this kernel will support it (and the fm radio part of it too)

how much space do you have on your hd? 10 megs downloads at 200 k a
second it doesn't take that long. I also noticed faster networking with
this kernel.
