download the linux-2.2pre6 source unpack it
make menuconfig (xconfig is broken)
and read the documents/changes VERY carefully
upgrade all those, (netscape if based on libc5 will get bad timezone
info upgrade that to glibc) so far it rocks, love the VGA console driver
+ my harddisk finally acts like its got ultra dma in there:)
I dind't even change my boot scripts, redhat is great for modularity.
