Re: rw on dos partition with vfat

Below is one line from my fstab:

/dev/hda1 /msdos/win98 vfat rw,auto,noexec,nodev,uid=1000,gid=1000,umask=0077

(two more 0's at the end, chopped off)

This allows me to have my /dev/hda1 (win98 vfat) automatically mounted
with the uid, gid, and umask that I specified. (As it is setup, only I
get to rw on that drive, my uid an dgid are both 1000).

You'll have to use your own uid, gid, and choose a umask.
