Ive never had a large IDE drive (more then 3 gigs, I know, Im old..) so I
didnt know there was a partition size limit.

As to the SCSI issue, there shouldnt be one. Ive installed Linux on numerous
SCSI drives and never had a problem. If you are installing RedHat, it asks if
you have any SCSI cards and you select the card. Does it fail at some point?
Does the card get reconized but not the drive or does neither show?

During install you can check alt-3 and alt-4 for various kernel messages about
drivers loading. I think alt-2 brings you to a root shell.

Let me (and the list) know how far along the install gets and we can work out
a solution.
