I got this message from a guy in my CS class. Does anyone have suggestions
for how he could go about getting his various harddrives to work? I'm sure
there's a way...

Hi Clark, my name is Chun Lin, and I take CS422 course this semester. Now
I plan to install Redhat Linux 5.2 on my Pentium II computer. The problem
is my IDE hard drive is 11.5G and Linux doesn't recognize my 10G extended
partition, while there is no room for Linux in the 1.5G primary partition.
So I bought a 1.6G SCSI hard drive. But the Linux install program doesn't
even notice the existance of the SCSI hard drive. Do you know whether I
can install Linux on SCSI drive or not?
Thanks,
best,
Chun Lin
