I don't know what your problem is (and won't without more information),
but try a more controlled methodology. What happens if you ping your
router (130.132.52.1)? If you can communicate with your router normally,
then you have a functioning TCP/IP stack (and everything below it, like a
functioning network card), and you may simply need to configure your
interface correctly. What does ifconfig display? What does /sbin/route
display?
