These true type fonts rock! great idea, I also found this kick ass gtk
based util cheops,
its a network neighborhood, its unbelievable, I am looking at all the
computers at yale, it puts icons for which type of system they are,
linux, mac, solaris, hardware routers, and windows of course, for linux
and solaris you can finger ftp telnet in etc, for mac os 8 you can
telnet in, and for routers telnet is an option (try sloth.net very harsh
warning there:)
if anyone wants it I'll put it up on /pub, ftp in as user ftp or
anonymous. I'm still working on samba shares. What we really need for
linux is a decent file manager that handles samba in a window. I have
used kfm but its not all that great in some ways.
