So, I've been discovering that my attempts to transfer mp3s over to my linuxppc
box (from my powermac 7200/90 running OS 8.6) have not been doing so well
lately.
mounting the linux box using netatalk1.4b2+asun2.1.3 is fine for individual
files, but once I get more than a couple, it hangs afpd on the linux box.
So I installed proftpd, and tried ftping the files over. No go. after an hour,
one 3meg file was 80% done.
I'm not sure what could be causing this odd behavior, so I thought I'd toss it
out to see if anyone else had encountered such strangeness....
