Out of curiosity, which version of Corel Linux did you install?
When I played with version 1.0 back in December, it had some serious
issues. The installer left me with unpartitioned slack space on my hard
drive, two-thirds of the time the whole computer would lock up when I
tried to log out of KDE, and it didn't detect the sound card I have in
that machine (a Sound Blaster 16 PnP, well-supported under Red Hat and
Linux-Mandrake.)
