Are you talking about the California injunction or the New York
injunction? Either way, both are just preliminary injunctions pending
trial to determine whether the speech involved is legally restricted or
not.
The outcome of the trials should be interesting, though. It'll put
a lot of questions to the courts that should've answered a long while ago
(with thanks to Rob Landey, as seen at
http://www.fool.com/portfolios/rulemaker/2000/rulemaker000127.htm): is it
legal to put links on your website to whatever you feel is appropriate?
Are end-user-license agreements or software contract-o-matics legally
enforceable? Or how about the Digital Millenium Copyright Act -- is it
even constitutional?
Also, keep an eye on osopinion.com; they'll most likely be posting
an essay I've written about CSS any day now.
