code patents nor by intellectual property rights is twenty-plus years strong.
Newly inspired by the web's progressive, yet often challenged, openly free
environment, open and free source software products have already made inroads
into the library market. As the philosophy of this movement and the principles
of free information within libraries are a nearly perfect match, interest and
applicability are increasing. Join us in a discussion of these ideas and of
their validity in libraries.
