The annual workshop on Formal Approaches to Slavic Linguistics (FASL) is one of the most reputable international academic conferences in the field of formal Slavic linguistics. Meetings are hosted by US and Canadian universities each May.

Conference proceedings are published the following year by Michigan Slavic Publications.

The 17th meeting of FASL will be held at Yale University from May 9th to 11th, 2008.
