GENERAL INFORMATION
LGBT Studies Degree Track at Yale
Students who wish to focus in LGBT studies should elect a Women's, Gender & Sexuality Studies Major with a concentration in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender studies track. See Academic > Lesbian and Gay Studies page.
For Graduate Students: LGBT Studies at Yale does not admit graduate students, nor is there a specific graduate program in LGBT Studies. Students wishing to attend Yale for graduate work in Lesbian and Gay studies must first be admitted as graduate students in other programs and departments, such as American Studies or History. If you have any questions about this please contact the Graduate School directly or contact the Administrator of the Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies program who can help advise you, by writing to linda.anderson@yale.edu, and putting "graduate student inquiry" in the subject line.
