The Georg Walter Leitner Program in International and Comparative Political Economy promotes research and teaching about the interactions between politics and economics around the world. The Program has been made possible by a generous gift from James Leitner and also receives support from the Whitney and Betty MacMillan Center for International & Area Studies at Yale, the Yale Center for the Study of Globalization, the Yale Institution for Social and Policy Studies, and the Yale Administration. The Leitner Program sponsors research by Yale faculty and students on topics in international and comparative political economy. It hosts seminars, conferences and workshops, brings short–term and long–term visitors to Yale, and disseminates research by Yale faculty and students through a working paper series. The Program is co–directed by Giovanni Maggi and Thad Dunning.
