The Georg Walter Leitner Program in International and Comparative Political Economy has been made possible by a generous gift from James Leitner. The Program also receives support from the MacMillan Center, the Yale Globalization Center, and the Yale Administration. It is located in the Whitney and Betty MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies at Yale. The Program sponsors research by Yale faculty and students (graduate and undergraduate) on topics in international and comparative political economy. It runs conferences and workshops, brings short-term and long-term visitors to Yale, and publishes research by Yale faculty and students in a Working Papers series. The Program is co-directed by Professor Giovanni Maggi and Professor Frances McCall Rosenbluth.
