I. Updating tools for Cases

A. Westlaw

• SH - to shepardize case (on either service) [eg sh 109 sct 2934] - can limit by either history, treatment or specific headnote, jurisdiction, etc . . . using limit button
• KC - KeyCite - provides citing cases with history, analysis of treatment and depth of coverage - can limit by either history, treatment or specific headnote, jurisdiction, etc . . .
• TA - Table of Authorities - lists the cases cited in your case and their Key Cite analysis

B. Lexis

• SH - to shepardize case (on either service) [eg sh 109 sct 2934] - can limit by either history, treatment or specific headnote, jurisdiction, etc . . . using link markers
• AC - Autocite, used to update particular case [e.g. ac 109 sct 2934]
