Dear Latino/a Alumnae:
As you may know, many of us have been discussing the need for a dynamic support network for Yale Latino alumni. The development of such a “community” becomes increasingly necessary as our numbers continue to multiply with each graduating class. Previous groups of Yale Latino alumni took the first vital steps towards developing a supportive organization that would specifically address the needs and interests of Latino alumni; however, the university recommended that these activists utilize the alumni association structure that already existed, believing it provided a suitable network for all Yale alumni.
