Journal of Industrial Ecology
Call for Papers:
Special Issue on Sustainable
Consumption
Deadline:
December 15, 2008
Following
on previous special issues on industrial ecology and sustainable consumption
(vol
. 9, #-1-2) and priorities for environmental product policy
(vol
. 10, # 3), the new special issue will mainly focus on changes/differences
in individual consumer behavior with respect to environmental impacts,
tools, projects, and theoretical constructs and will build on the best
papers of the March 2008 SCORE conference. The EU-funded Sustainable Consumption
Research Exchange (SCORE!)
network is the major scientific network that analyses changes to sustainable
consumption and production (SCP) in relation to policy efforts such as
the UN 10 Year Framework of Programs on SCP.
The editors of the special
issue have invited submissions of selected papers from the 2008 SCORE conference.
This announcement is a request for papers from ISIE members that were not
presented at the SCORE conference.

should be original, previously unpublished, in English, and between 3,500
and 7,000 words in length. Submission implies that the manuscript has not
