Classes will be taught in iMovie '09.

Level 1:

We'll cover the basics of importing digital video and editing it, adding cuts, transitions, background music, and titles.

Level 2:

We'll move on to cover adding sound effects, video effects, and voiceovers, and other more advanced topics.

Level 1:

We'll cover the basics of image editing using Photoshop and freeware editors. Topics include managing photo files, adjusting brightness and color levels, straightening and resizing images.

Level 2:

We'll move on to cover editing photos using layers,filters and brushes. We'll also show you how to touch up damaged areas of photos

Level 1:

We'll start by explaining how web sites are organized and how they are served from the Pantheon. Then, we'll show you how to connect to the Pantheon to upload files, and the Basics of creating webpages using HTML.

Level 2:

The next level we'll cover managing and editing websites using either Dreamweaver or iWeb '09. Classes on each program will be held separately.

Level 1:

We'll cover how to set up regular backups of your data, so you're protected from losing your important files. We'll also talk about what to do if you suspect your hard drive is failing.

Level 1:

In the first class, we'll teach you how to use a digital camera, with a focus on using a Digital SLR. Topics include adjusting aperture and shutter to control light, the basics of lenses, and importing your photos.
