About Student Technology Collaborative

Student Technology Collaborative is a part of Academic and Media Technology, a division of Yale Information Technology Services. STC represents a cooperative effort between Yale undergraduate students, graduate students, and ITS staff to maintain, repair, and enhance technology resources for Yale College and Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

Personal Computer Services

Student Technology Collaborative provides a wide range of technical consultation and support for technology owned by students in Yale College and Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

Computer Cluster Support

Student Technology Collaborative provides staffing for the major campus computer clusters in Connecticut Hall, Dunham Laboratory, and Bass Library. In these locations, Student Techs provide basic support for the cluster machines and are available for general consultation. Additionally, STC provides regular maintenance for the computer clusters located in the Residential Colleges, Swing Space, Hall of Graduate Studies, Helen Hadley Hall, and 276 Prospect St.

Bass Library Collaborative Learning Center

Student Technology Collaborative also provides support for the electronic media resources in Bass Library. Student Techs are available for assisting with multimedia presentations, technology-driven tutorials, and group study opportunities in the Bass Library Collaborative Learning Center.

Yale Online Resources Support

Student Technology Collaborative staff alsosupport and maintain the Mailman and Panlist mailing list services, and Yale Pantheon file storage and web hosting space.
